Captain Matt Dogan holds a USCG 100 ton Master’s License, Coastal and Great Lakes. Matt has been a recreational boater all of his life, beginning with his first month-long voyage at age 5 months! Raised on the shore of Lake Michigan, Matt’s first steps were on a previous Hot Tomolly. He loves the water, and is currently studying Economics at Indiana University and would like to become a maritime attorney when he finishes his schooling. He enjoys competing in the IU Sailing Club in his leisure time at IU. Matt has also cruised the waters of the United States, Canada and the Bahamas extensively, and has safely completed many international voyages of greater than 1000 miles. Capt. Matt enjoys water skiing, wake boarding, and “tubing”, and will safely treat guests to those adventures if you’re brave enough and the water conditions cooperate! Matt also serves as a boat delivery captain and will captain a vessel for the owner who wants to have a “party day”!
Steward/Catering Manager Seiche Dogan was named after the weather phenomenon that occasionally occurs on Lake Michigan.
